Last Night, my sister came to town, and we went to the Washington Pavilion to see the touring production of Mean Girls- the musical. It’s a story about Cady Heron, a teenage girl who transfers to a public high school after being homeschooled her whole life in Africa. At school, she befriends Janis Sarkisian and Damian Hubbard, who persuade her to infiltrate the “Plastics,” a clique consisting of wealthy but insecure Gretchen Wieners, sweet but dimwitted Karen Smith, and “queen bee” Regina George.

The musical was ok; if I had to rate it, I would probably give it a 6/10. Some of the music was upbeat and fun, but there were pieces that they could have cut. Some people can’t sit in chairs that aren’t too comfortable for too long.
